Work has started on rebuilding our 2016/2017 chassis for a spare kart for 2019. This chassis was used at 9 rounds only and stripped for any repairs and powder coat in December 2017. The decision was made to purchase a new chassis in January 2018 which was the chassis used for 2018.
This chassis has sat in storage for the year, only being rebuilt now as our trusty spare kart has now been sold to new Competitor, Adam Stratton, for the 2019 season.
At this stage this kart will be used only for the SEKQLD Ipswich 12hr and the SEKNSW 24hr, It is however available to purchase for anyone looking to enter the SEK series.
A Joker chassis, manufactured by Five4 Race Engineering and Sydney Karting Warehouse, the chassis uses many Benson style products. We are developing a removable C section front end which will be a direct bolt on fitment to all karts using this Benson, Bowman, F1 and Joker style front end. Using a Righetti Ridolfi stub axle and a choice camber/camber caster adjuster, this setup will be fitted to this kart and sure to make parts more accessible and wheel alignments a breeze.
